Look­ing to his fiance for a unique mode for the sea­son, Jean-​​Charles was inspired by her Tahit­ian roots. Mix­ing inten­sive ani­mal prints with bold bursts of color, the lat­est col­lec­tion found its foot­ing in the col­li­sion of two worlds melded by cheeky chaos.

JCDC1 JC de Castelbajac Launches Diffusion Line

Hop­ing to cap­ti­vate a younger mar­ket, quirky French label Jean-​​Charles de Castel­ba­jac is launch­ing a dif­fu­sion line called JCDC. Spring 2010 marks the debut of the line, which will be pre­sented in Lon­don on Sep­tem­ber 17, 2009. Mod­el­ing the line will be vir­tual unknowns dis­cov­ered through Jalouse and Dazed & Con­fused mag­a­zine appli­cants. (WWD)
