Welcome to the Woodlands: Introducing Julia Kim

This 2008 collection comes from Julia Kim. Kim is an aspiring designer whose past experience includes work with the label Preen. Kim is currently studying at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerpen, Belgium. The most prominent features of Kim’s collection are the wood-inspired patterns and the impeccable eye for detail. This penchant for detail is perhaps best exhibited in the way she approaches construction as seen with the interesting cut and form many of the lapels take. I don’t know about you, but I am excited to see what the future holds in store for Kim.
