New Collab–For the Fall 2011 season, Duvetica collaborates with Junya Watanabe, producing cotton down jackets and reversible down vests filled with the finest premium French goose down. Each piece is lined with cotton check and features fabric variations of wool check or corduroy on the back. This outdoorsman chic collab will be available at Jeffrey, Bergdorf Goodman, Net-A-Porter and Bloomingdales the end of August. The pieces were first seen in the Junya Watanabe Fall 2011 collection.

Fashion Harvesting–With a healthy green lawn perfectly groomed, the countryside barnyard party was set for Junya Watanabe’s spring 2012 collection. The literal interpretation of farmer uniforms produced desirable and uncomplicated pieces in the likes of overalls in denim and plaid, jeans with patchwork as well as rubber applications worn with durable rubber boots. Meanwhile classic utilitarian jackets and fitted blazers came together for a casual outing complemented by quirky detailing accompanied by charming prints. Alluding the expected sense of luxury, Junya Watanabe continues to stand apart from the fashion crowd with fetishistic seasonal themes.

Armed with a penchant for fair isle prints and the fashionably awkward ankle hem, Junya Watanabe approaches the fall season with a proper state of mind. Immaculately groomed and pulled together, the Watanabe man is ready for play or business in a highly versatile wardrobe that revolves around the coveted separate. From easy jackets and shirting options to the fundamental trouser, the label dresses their signature workersman-inspired silhouette in an array of festive colors and subdued hues for a treatment of prints as well as contrasting pocket play.

Junya Watanabe looked to the high seas for this season’s inspiration. Donning nautical stripes amidst a casual progression of navy and neutrals, the man of Junya Watanabe took the relaxing confines of a conservative wardrobe with semi-relaxed silhouettes.
