Kenzo Fall/​Winter 2012 | Paris Fashion Week

The Kenzo Work­day–Play­ing it safe for their debut col­lec­tion, new Kenzo cre­ative direc­tors Carol Lim and Hum­berto Leon, revealed a sea­son right off the con­veyor belt. Dec­o­rated in bright, youth­ful prints, the tai­lored trap­pings of the Kenzo man came out to play. From fit­ted quilted jack­ets and laid-​​back sweat­shirts to the odd knick­knacks, sports­wear fueled the col­lec­tion. Hon­ing in on a relaxed aes­thetic that achieved a bal­ance of casual sophis­ti­ca­tion and nov­elty, Lim and Leon rep­re­sented the quirky sen­ti­ments of the clas­sic man.

Kenzo Homme Spring 2012 | Paris Fashion Week

A Place in the Sun–Warm thoughts of 1960’s Hawaii and the gor­geous images from the port­fo­lio of Slim Aarons inspire a trop­i­cal get­away for the lat­est Kenzo col­lec­tion from Anto­nio Mar­ras. Embark­ing on a charm­ing tale, a gen­eral relaxed sil­hou­ette takes pri­or­ity as a myr­iad of prints lend the range its spirit. From stripes and flo­ral prints to polka dots, the Kenzo man enjoys some time off in a won­der­ful array of blue, green as well as fuch­sia. Show­cas­ing tai­lored sta­ples, rang­ing from the dou­ble breasted jacket and pleated suit­ing shorts to semi-​​fitted trousers, Mar­ras once again demon­strates a lev­eled hand, employ­ing a con­cept and sound con­struc­tion side by side with great results.
