The Don of the Season–Layered in lush knits and grand outerwear, the man of Les Hommes makes his way back to the catwalk. Following a cultured getaway, color, print and volume paint an image of refinement with a daring undertone. While leather garments contribute to a modern hard streak, softness is delivered in the form of sweaters in vibrant hues. Relating the tension of fit and volume, large oversize sleeves taper for a distinct visage. Meanwhile, trousers are tapered and relaxed for the appropriate note to an eclectic collection that seamlessly juxtaposes fine suiting with charming knitwear.

Dark and sullen, the decadent whims of the Les Hommes’ man is a rarity this season. Whereas furs and metallic finishes are part of a familiar pastime for Les Hommes, the bulk of fall’s range relies on the understated elements to craft a protective armor that maintains a certain softness. In a world where knits are incorporated into blazers and outerwear, Les Hommes’ man is given a practical key to carry on undetected, while still enjoying the benefits of a style that is endlessly chic.

Les Hommes’ might have turned the dial down on their use of beads in their latest collection, but that does not mean that it’s any less glamorous. The spring collection is like a dreamy caravan of gold that is quickly approaching. Heavy on the use of satin and suede, it’s shaping up to be a rather expensive spring for Les Hommes. The luxurious satin numbers at times see overindulgent, but they are so perfectly matched with slouchy suede boots and sandals that bear just the right amount of strap. Honing in on monochromatic numbers of black, white and brown, Les Hommes’ flowing silhouettes perfectly accent the male form, often resulting in fabric meticulously pinched in all the right places to craft a stunning pair of billowing trousers. Finally, if satin, silk and suede are not lavish enough, Les Homme’s spring collection is deemed complete with a hint of sparkly glitz in the form of an exuberant beaded pants number.
