Mike & Chris Fall 2008

Following my post on fall accent colors, here is Mike & Chris’ fall 2008 collection with a neutral based palette of tans, blacks, and browns highlighted by greens and blues. Mike & Chris is a great brand for outerwear. Their collections usually feature outerwear with an excellent attention to detail; perfect for any situation. This collection is the most complete line yet. With their spring collection, they started introducing bottoms and more tops, but with this collection, they have added shoes to the line. The shoes are not featured in these pictures, but keep checking back. I’ll have pictures posted soon in my boot feature.

New Arrivals @ Oak

Oak has done it again. They just posted some pieces from Y-3 (pants) & Mike & Chris (boots). I wouldn’t wear the pieces together; too severe, but I like the fit and overall look of both the pants and boots. The pants would be excellent worn with some plain beat up tennis, while the boots would look great with skinny jeans or wool pants.

As a sidenote, I wonder what happened to Mike & Chris. During fall 2007, the line was available at a lot of online retailers. This past season, I did not see them once. Hopefully, this season turns around for them, because they really do have great pieces.
