Western Mode–Stepping out for Nicholas K’s fall/winter 2012 outing, DNA model Miles Garber is clad in the label’s latest collection of easy to wear separates. Filtering their signature aesthetic through a western motif this season, Nicholas K achieves an effortless cool. Featuring neutral color-ways, the lineup begins with comforting fits in the form of loose-cut pants that act as the perfect complement to endless layers. Mixing draped silhouettes, particularly with outerwear and finer details such as elongated sleeves, complete with hand loops as well as cable-knit pieces, conclusive to a variety of functions, Nicholas K serves up a well-rounded season.

Edge on the Western Front–Lending their layered cool a fresh new edge, Nicholas K visited the west for the inspiration of their fall/winter 2012 collection. Crafting their own Man of Black, but sure to include their signature penchant for fleshed out neutrals, a tough exterior was brought forth with strong outerwear. Structured and lined, the shining moment to many an ensemble, coats were weaved in as the perfect companion to a wide array of knitwear. While a couple of pieces were loosely draped with toggles, more traditional pieces offered bouts of classic menswear for the highly accessible wardrobe. Treated with cowl necks and accessorized with leather holsters as well as hats, Nicholas K’s latest collection debuted with an impressive charm that saw the brand demonstrating the elasticity of their welcomed aim at a consistent aesthetic that marries function to style.

Spring Encore–Nicholas K enlists photographer Francis Hills to produce their spring 2012 lookbook, featuring New York Model Management’s Adam Bates. Mixing urban utilitarianism with draped silhouettes, Nicholas K brings their signature aesthetic to the forefront in earthy spring pigments, drawn out in coveted layers. From sleeveless jackets and cuffed shorts to hooded knits, a complete wardrobe can be unpacked from strong contemporary ensembles. / Hair by Jason Murillo with makeup by Javier Romero.

Layered Perfection–Kicking off the season with a light color palette and a flurry of easy garments – effortlessly layered in a signature fashion, Nicholas K crafted a strong spring wardrobe. Whether heavenly in white or taking a dark step in neutrals, the latest lineup delighted with light-weight pieces, draped seamlessly for a casual forray. Pairing sheer tops, cropped drawstring trousers, relaxed outerwear and other desirable pieces together, Nicholas K, once again, presented a collection that felt current with a well-grounded edge.

Looking to Francis Hills to photograph Next model Jonatan Frenk, Nicholas K ushers out an inspiring lineup of pieces that embrace a certain youthfulness, while also strengthened by a wide appeal. From relaxed drawstring pants and flannel shirting to a mix of elongated silhouettes as well as cropped proportions, fall’s range boasts a versatile nature.
