Man VS Wild–Inspired by his 1970’s Harley David­son motor­cy­cle, Odyn Vovk designer Austin Sherba­nenko presents his fall 2011 col­lec­tion look­book fea­tur­ing Tony Ward pho­tographed by Jeff P. A bit more refined than his pre­vi­ous col­lec­tions, the cult fash­ion label’s focus this sea­son was on func­tion­al­ity and every­day sil­hou­ettes. Exe­cuted in heavy wool, leather and denim, the col­lec­tion was devel­oped in a melan­cholic color palette of deep red, dark gray and black.

Veer­ing off the course of an apoc­a­lypse, Odyn Vovk’s recent spring show­ing revealed a col­lec­tion put together with thoughts of haste and the idea of a musi­cian who puts his work together piece by piece. At the end, dif­fer­ent cre­ative paths have to merge into one con­sis­tent vision. Refin­ing a short his­tory of well-​​received pieces, Odyn Vovk designer Austin Sherba­nenko con­structed a col­lec­tion of elon­gated lay­ers that mir­ror a meet­ing of dreams and real­ity.
