Old Meets New–With a col­lec­tion inspired by the 1970’s art house move­ment as well as British painter Lucian Freud, com­fort label Oliver Spencer delights the run­way dur­ing London’s lat­est fash­ion week. Sort­ing through an eclec­tic lot of faces, Spencer’s men don a col­lec­tion that strongly incor­po­rates pris­tine cuts, knitwear and a splash of color with bold hues. Among the var­i­ous looks are pat­terned base­ball jack­ets, fairisle, cardi­gans and much more includ­ing a debonair spread of boots and loafers for a col­lec­tion that dar­ingly com­bines a vin­tage feel with the gra­tu­itous tai­lor­ing of today.

Spring at Sea–On a roll lately, Elite Lon­don model Dan Fel­ton snags Oliver Spencer’s spring 2012 look­book. Pho­tographed by Dan Annett and styled by William Gilchris, Dan dons the new col­lec­tion, infused with nau­ti­cal inspi­ra­tions. Dressed pre­dom­i­nantly in cobalt and red, the lat­est range tack­les Oliver Spencer’s strong suits in sports­wear with the cot­ton blazer exe­cuted to a relaxed degree and joined by its double-​​breasted coun­ter­part. Cool yet sharp, suit­ing is jux­ta­posed with easy pieces rang­ing from striped tees and twill pants to short-​​sleeved shirt­ing.
