Dressing trousers and outerwear in camouflage for this season’s printed treat, Opening Ceremony looks to a sea of neutral-based hues to color their new wardrobe. Dedicating the collection to wearable pieces, everything from sweaters and anoraks to hooded sweatshirts come together with a laid-back flair, quite representative of the retailer signature style.

The Vision–The 90s resurface as actress Chloë Sevigny approaches her latest collection for Opening Ceremony. Surfer meets skater as a laid-back approach brings streetwear to the forefront with large logos and loud prints noting the range’s signature elements. Whether offering up a black trench or cropped jacket, Sevigny curates separates with a nostalgia and certain humor, making for another successful collaboration with Opening Ceremony.

A Poetic Firmness–The Mulleavy sisters of Rodarte have teamed up yet again with Opening Ceremony, this time around, to create a fall 2011 collection. Fleshing out a full range of printed shirting, cardigans and plaid shirts for a Nordic collection that romanticizes Scandinavia, the Rodartes deliver skilled style with ease. From soft knit to graphic stirring, VNY model Stephan Haurholm dons a winning lineup, captured by the lens of Autumn de Wilde.

New Collaboration in Town–Kim Jones has collaborated with Korean label Bean Pole for a fall 2011 capsule collection, made exclusively for Opening Ceremony. Modeling the new prep sensation, Opening Ceremony looks to Request model Cole Mohr. From trousers and workerswear jackets to shirting, slim fundamentals are dressed in a myriad of geometrics and fun, lively colors for a well-grounded turn out for the fall season.
