Tokyo Ris­ing–Pal­la­dium enlists musi­cian Phar­rell for a new film directed by Thalia Mavros. Enti­tled Tokyo Ris­ing: An Urban Explo­ration with Phar­rell Williams, the film debuted this past Wednes­day at Manhattan’s Hiro Ball­room, fol­lowed by a Q&A with the musi­cian and direc­tor. Ven­tur­ing to Tokyo, Japan, fol­low­ing the recent earth­quake, the film show­cases a resilient gen­er­a­tion of cre­ative minds. From music and art to fash­ion, the artists fea­tured in the film bring an aston­ish­ing light to a con­tin­u­ous cel­e­bra­tion of life, regard­less of the inevitable obsta­cles. /​ View the film here.
