Stud­ded Leather Vest Sweater

“Cotton/​cashmere black knit cardi­gan sweater with front fully stud­ded leather piec­ing at chest. Dou­ble lay­ered rib­bing at hem with one side hang­ing loose for that “I just got into a fight” look. 85% cot­ton, 15% cash­mere Piec­ing: 100% leather.”

The stud­ded leather por­tion of this sweater is a hard look to pull off, but an inter­est­ing look nonethe­less.  I love how it takes the preppy sense of the cardi­gan and crosses it with the rebel­lious edge of a biker.

Good­land Jacket

“Black var­sity style jacket with a heavy wool exte­rior and debat­able leather sleeves. snap clo­sures and zip­pered front welt hand warm­ing pock­ets. Ribbed trim at cuffs and hem. Fully lined. Shell: 80% wool, 20% nylon. Lin­ing: 100% poly­ester. Sleeves: 100% leather.”

Inter­est­ingly enough it is the back pro­file of this jacket that caught my eye.  On most occa­sions, I have a great dis­taste for epaulets; they nor­mally look really forced, but some­how they work here and bal­ance out a really inter­est­ing jacket that turns into a vest.  2 for the price of 1!  But, please none of those con­vert­ible shorts/​pants.
