Pastel Movement–Spring is in the air and New York Fashion Week has began. Pulling together relaxed silhouettes and a color palette that’s easy on the eyes, Steven Alan delivers a proper outing for the man of leisure as well as business. From twill shorts and semi-fitted suiting options to light-weight knits, the label curated a sharp mix of menswear classics with a contemporary cut that guides the ageless man of style. / Photos by Carl Barnett of The Fashionisto.

Tribeca’s Steven Alan annex celebrates the recent arrivals of Haywood Suits by taking the clothes out for a night on the town. Modeled by Erik Brandt, the clothes are captured in a realistic setting by Dan Weaver.
Economy got you in the dumps? Taking a break from high fashion? Was Urban Outfitters your gateway drug? Well, maybe it is time to return with these easy to incorporate picks:
Cheap Monday Carrot Pant $120; Lightweight Montreal Scarf $20, BDG Big O Rust Thermal $32, Lark & Wolff by Steven Alan Varsity Cardigan $98
As many of you probably already know, Steven Alan is collaborating with Urban Outfitters, producing the brand Lark & Wolff. Urban Outfitters has added a couple pieces to their online inventory. These pieces can be viewed at their site. To be quite honest, I don’t know if it is the pictures or the stylist, but the pieces look sloppy and not what I’d expect from Alan. I guess I’ll have to see them in person.
Remember the news of Steven Alan’s collaboration with Urban Outfitters under the line Lark & Wolff? Men.Style has posted a first look, and to be completely honest, it’s underwhelming. Maybe, I was expecting too much. However, I won’t make any final statements until the July 4th launch. Stay tuned.
News is traveling around the internet that Steven Alan will be doing a collection for Urban Outfitters called Lark & Wolff. According to NY Mag, the line will have “a decidedly rustic-country-sure-I-know-how-to-camp bent…The collection will retail for $58 to $128.” The first shipment of the collection should arrive at stores by July 4, 2008.
