Boy Joy–Pho­tog­ra­pher and cin­e­matog­ra­pher Christo­pher Star­body takes us back­stage at the Uncon­di­tional spring/​summer 2012 show dur­ing Lon­don Fash­ion Week. Star­body cap­tures a hand­ful of mirth­ful and lively famil­iar faces includ­ing James Smith, Malthe Lund Mad­sen, Leebo Free­man, Philip Milo­je­vic, Yuri Pleskun and more as they make the most of it backstage.

Unconditional Fall 2010

Dis­creet gra­di­ents and a fine mix of pro­por­tions come together for Unconditional’s fall 2010 col­lec­tion. Work­ing with a myr­iad of black, green and gray hues, designer Philip Stephens cre­ates a fresh take on the fash­ion­able urban­ite. Whereas fit­ted out­er­wear offers struc­ture and pro­tec­tion, the collection’s tops remain true to Unconditional’s play­ful nature. Cre­at­ing strong looks with tex­ture, drap­ing and the occa­sional use of prints, the col­lec­tion cements a dark array of thought­ful pieces that are in tune with the times.

Unconditional Spring 2010

Uncon­di­tional designer Philip Stephens con­tin­ues his quest to con­quer the Amer­i­can mar­ket with his lat­est spring col­lec­tion inspired by the faith­ful stars and stripes. Con­tin­u­ing his mar­riage of British sen­si­bil­ity with America’s casual atti­tude, the col­lec­tion eas­ily tran­si­tions between strong dap­per looks and the ulti­mate sporti­ness. Relaxed shorts offer the ver­sa­til­ity of being gym ready or the per­fect accent to a light spring suit. Mean­while, the reemer­gence of sub­tle gra­di­ents set against white are refresh­ing, while ensem­bles in black and gray make for reli­able stand­bys. Ulti­mately, Uncon­di­tional is suc­cess­ful in offer­ing gar­ments that will fare well regard­less of the sea­son, offer­ing the best in acces­si­bil­ity, con­ve­nience and style.

Philip Stephen’s spring col­lec­tion for Uncon­di­tional is the lat­est to arrive at SSENSE. Tak­ing a keen inter­est in shirt­ing details, Stephens thinks out­side the box, while still remain­ing prac­ti­cal in light spring themed neutrals.

Revolve New Arrivals — Coming Soon & Unconditional

Yohji Yamamoto’s Com­ing Soon (top row) and Uncon­di­tional are the lat­est labels to arrive at Revolve.  Com­ing Soon serves up sev­eral waist­coats, while Uncon­di­tional stands out with shorts and pants fea­tur­ing a drop crotch.
