Uniqlo’s Star Athlete–Announced this morning in Paris, France before the start of the Roland-Garros French Open, Uniqlo chairman, president and CEO as well as the brand’s creative director Naoki Takizawa joined hands with the world’s number one men’s tennis player, Novak Djokovic to announce a five-year partnership. The partnership will entail charity work and collaboration on future product lines.

It’s a Coke World–Available beginning today, Uniqlo teams up with Coca-Cola for its latest collaboration. As part of Uniqlo’s eighth annual UT Grand Prix (UTGP) t-shirt design contest, ten t-shirts are available with a price of $19.90 each. The range takes from over 125 years of Coca-Cola history for its fun-upbeat look at the beverage icon.

Light-fast Classics–Adrian Wlodarski, Alexander Johansson and Ethan James appear for Uniqlo, marking the initial push for the spring/summer 2012 season. Blending smarts with a sporty approach, a light color palette gives life to a relaxed outing, with the essential comforts, ranging from graphic tees and zippered sweatshirts to wind breakers. On the more sophisticated end of the spectrum, striped tops, 3-button blazers and easy sweaters make an important nod to the season.

Uniqlo Arrivals–Uniqlo looks to the beginning of a season with an influx of arrivals, modeled by Jaco Van Den Hoven. Dressed in autumn hues, ranging from burgundy and camel to forest green, Uniqlo finds a note among slim trousers, merino fine wool knits and hooded sweatshirts, to kick off fall in a relaxed style.

The Last Stand–As Uniqlo’s collaboration with Jil Sander comes to an end, Bastiaan van Gaalen nabs the final campaign spot, lensed by David Sims with styling by Joe McKenna. Combining Sander’s penchant for design minimalism with a stark fortitude for the militaristic motif, the fall 2011 season is anchored.

Fall Calm–Uniqlo prepares for the fall 2011 season with a new lookbook featuring Lyle Lodwick, Marcus Hedbrandh and Gerhard Freidl. Embracing a stripped down approach to activewear, this season’s staples come together in primary colors. From fleece outerwear and flannel shirts to denim as well as down, Uniqlo braces for the initial cold front with their signature style.
