Spring Awakening–Clean lines informed a clean spring/summer 2014 collection from Lacoste creative director Felipe Oliveira Baptista. Paying a nod to the label’s sports heritage, Baptista took inspiration from the tennis court, crafting a relaxed range with an effortless sophistication. Gravitating towards white and dusty pastels, suiting fit right in with the more experimental, showcasing light sheer outerwear. Maintaining a boxy silhouette, the brand’s signature polo shirt felt contemporary while thin white piping presented an interesting visual to sportswear that felt immediately fresh.
