Loewe Pre-​​Fall 2009

Tak­ing a glance at the pre-​​fall col­lec­tion from Span­ish label Loewe, one would think that reces­sion was a word of the past. The well-​​tailored col­lec­tion con­sists of clean sil­hou­ettes and shapes includ­ing trousers, both tapered and wide-​​legged, as well as mil­i­taris­tic out­er­wear. How­ever, on the other end of the spec­trum, Loewe play­fully delves into the world of leather with a pair of biker trousers and a shiny pea­coat num­ber. Adding the final touch of lux­ury, the col­lec­tion is com­plete with the addi­tion of fox lin­ing, ostrich bags, rab­bit coats and scarves. Talk about luxury!
