Tweed, vel­vet, cor­duroy, pais­ley, stripes, and argyle. The lat­est col­lec­tion from Marc by Marc Jacobs is rem­i­nis­cent of a young man rum­mag­ing through a thrift store, dis­cov­er­ing old pieces, and bring­ing them into the mod­ern age with the aid of per­sonal style.

Marc Jacobs’ fall col­lec­tion con­sists of a mul­ti­tude of tex­tures and pat­terns that indi­vid­u­ally have a mature nature. How­ever, these same pieces are made young by rein­ter­pret­ing their func­tion. The lay­er­ing of unlikely pieces (think in mul­ti­ples /​ ie: button-​​ups) and the addi­tion of high-​​tops pro­vide a fresh take for the upcom­ing fall season.
