Actor Matthew Gray Gubler opens up his Pasadena home to The Coveteur as he shares choice personal belongings. One of the standout pieces featured in the story is a vintage fur coat. Gubler explains, “Edward Gorey has been one of my favorite artists since childhood when I would watch those PBS murder mysteries, for which he designed the opening credits.”

Gubler continues, “He would often draw himself traipsing through graveyards wearing a long fur coat and white Converse. I heard through the grapevine that they were auctioning off a bunch of his personal belongings at an estate sale in Maine to benefit one of his charities for animals. I did some research, found a strange man named Pierre, and convinced him to attend the auction for me. The coat is made of otter, weighs about 15 pounds, and is the softest thing you will ever feel.” Read more at TheCoveteur.com.
