Milan Fashion Week | John Richmond Fall 2010 - | The Fashionisto: The Latest in Fashion from Runway to Print

Milan Fashion Week | John Richmond Fall 2010

A byproduct of old and new ideas, the latest collection from John Richmond tests age sensibilities with garments that multigenerational. The standard suit is let out and reformed with a punk attitude, while classic staples like the trench become modern with a quilted update. Meanwhile, eveningwear is juxtaposed with casual denim and the grandpa sweater left in tact for character. A well-rounded figure, John Richmond’s man approaches the fall season with an unwavering determination to progress his style, while also paying a nod to the classics.

    That's plain awful.

It's not like anybody cares about this label at all though.

I'm surprised how do they keep this runway thing going

not to pile on but i agree that this veers way too much towards the dubai / chrome hearts crowd. but that is probably why it sells. as separates it's easy to market…of course i did find myself attracted to a couple of the pants and coats but not out of their design quality. ugh
