Tasked with a remarkable amount of work, Birgite Mahrt styles the eclectic lot in a character-driven wardrobe of Miharayasuhiro, Burberry Prorsum and other standout labels.

Second Time’s The Charm–Major Paris models Alex Bennett and Wael Sersoub follow up fall’s campaign with a new outing for Bill Tornade. Appearing in the spring 2011 campaign, the duo deliver an easy nonchalance in striped ensembles.

Mincemeat–Alex Bennett sports the latest collection from Mostecak in a series of images taken by Thomas Giddings. Inspired by morbid stories of Death Burger Specials made from the remains of famous celebrities such as Elvis, James Dean and Walt Disney, designer Tomislav Mostecak looks to significant artifacts of entertainment for a minced reinvention for the fall 2011 season. From Elvis’ iconic red suede jacket to his military bomber or 70′s tweed jacket, the famous relics find a new life in Mostecak’s method of melting these looks and separating their construction into other pieces, whether it is the texture of a dress or shape of a set of pockets.

Cut from gray and black, Rick Owens’ latest designs revolve around an angular look for fall. From asymmetrical zippers on boots and a signature exercise in draping to new hardware adornments, Owens continues a unique path. Displaying an unusual softness despite the hard edges, the collection finds momentum in graphic lines defined by color, texture and form. Intertwining the usually dark color palette with a sheen finish, fall’s collection is rounded out with a formal feel.

Opting for a presentation this season, Giuliano Fujiwara kept the designs simple, emphasizing its minimalist history with strict silhouettes that slimmed and elongated the body. Armed with a monochromatic color palette and everything from shorts and outerwear to suiting, the looks were completed with utilitarian pockets and tasseled dress shoes.
