Fash­ion Har­vest­ing–With a healthy green lawn per­fectly groomed, the coun­try­side barn­yard party was set for Junya Watanabe’s spring 2012 col­lec­tion. The lit­eral inter­pre­ta­tion of farmer uni­forms pro­duced desir­able and uncom­pli­cated pieces in the likes of over­alls in denim and plaid, jeans with patch­work as well as rub­ber appli­ca­tions worn with durable rub­ber boots. Mean­while clas­sic util­i­tar­ian jack­ets and fit­ted blaz­ers came together for a casual out­ing com­ple­mented by quirky detail­ing accom­pa­nied by charm­ing prints. Allud­ing the expected sense of lux­ury, Junya Watan­abe con­tin­ues to stand apart from the fash­ion crowd with fetishis­tic sea­sonal themes.
