Dolce & Gabbana tones down the luxe factor this season with a varied collection of the usual pieces, but a gritty element. Void of color and not afraid of a rip, hole or two, the range’s most notable pieces are found in the disheveled tanks, knits and longjohns. Alternatively, Dolce & Gabbana’s man, who is known to work with his hands is championed by the oil-like wash given to the collection’s denim. Finally, speckled knits, tweed and velvet find their way into this season’s offerings for those special occasions.

Balmain’s spring 2010 lookbook featuring Clément Chabernaud photographed by Karim Sadli provides a wider context to view the collection. Fusing militaristic and urban inspirations, Creative Director Christophe Decarnin crafts a collection that is well put together, while at the same time conveying a casual nonchalant vibe. Tattered tees, loose fits and a focus on leather lend themselves to the modern rebel with many facets.

Clément Chabernaud’s modern charm shines through in the latest campaign from Korean label Time Homme. Photographed by Nathaniel Goldberg, the Success model embraces the season with a classic lines and a touch of the times.

In addition to Clément Chabernaud, Will Davidson photographs Josh Beech, AJ Abualrub and Mathias Bergh for the current issue of VMAN. Styled by Clare Richardson, the foursome take on modern classics from the likes of John Varvatos, Lanvin, Givenchy and others.

Clément Chabernaud is featured in the latest issue of VMAN on newsstands now. Front and center with no distractions, Clément is styled by Clare Richardson and photographed by Will Davidson for a polished, but relaxed look at fall’s more chic pieces.

Christophe Decarnin’s casual outing for French label Balmain fares well when paired with the modeling of Clément Chabernaud and photography of Karim Sadli.
