WWD delivers Japan the latest from Viktor & Rolf with a new spread lensed by Leslie Kee. Inspired by Factory Girl, Andrej Pejic, Gabriel Gronvik, Daniel Hicks, Simon Nygard, Tetsu and Kiko Mizuhara take center stage for a story styled by Takafumi Kawasaki.

In a sea of safe colors, photographer Masaya Takagi captures one of the season’s brightest indulgences. Styled by Tomoki Sukezane, the March 2010 issue of Japanese magazine Brutus crafts a clean white space for Daniel Hicks to shine in an upbeat yellow number from Louis Vuitton’s messenger inspired spring collection.

Enveloped by darkness and mystique, English model Daniel Hicks stars in photographer Rrosemary’s most recent editorial for Dazed & Confused Japan. Turning to fashion’s rebellious designers, Tsuyoshi Noguchi outfits Daniel in seductive garments from the likes of Riccardo Tisci’s Givenchy and Raf Simons.

Vincent Nord’s recent editorial featuring Luke Worrall for FUXYZ magazine came from a larger shoot entitled “Tears of a Clown”. Featuring the addition of Alexander Jakob, Daniel Hicks and Robbie Wadge styled by Rivki, the foursome prove that while life may be quite colorful, it can also be really hard. It’s not easy being a clown!

Daniel Hicks is one of the many models that were made into stars by Hedi Slimane. He was shot by the famed photographer for an editorial for Vogue Hommes Japan. He has walked for Burberry, Lanvin, Comme des Garcons and Gareth Pugh. Daniel starred in Topman’s Spring/Summer 2010 campaign and became the face of lookbooks for Balenciaga and Burberry Black Label. He was photographed by Steven Meisel for both the cover and editorial of Vogue Italia June 2009.
