Discreet gradients and a fine mix of proportions come together for Unconditional’s fall 2010 collection. Working with a myriad of black, green and gray hues, designer Philip Stephens creates a fresh take on the fashionable urbanite. Whereas fitted outerwear offers structure and protection, the collection’s tops remain true to Unconditional’s playful nature. Creating strong looks with texture, draping and the occasional use of prints, the collection cements a dark array of thoughtful pieces that are in tune with the times.

Photographed by Fergus Padel and outfitted by Robbie Spencer, Maximilian Parsons joins Douglas Neitzke for the second installment of ASOS’ fall outing. Embracing herringbone and check, a fine tuned collection of suiting and outerwear lends the modern man the key ingredients to a smart fall wardrobe.

Carefully dividing fall’s collection amongst three concepts, ASOS caters to the complicated man. With an outdoors appeal, the first range entitled Nomad pulls off a generous knit fix. Featuring Douglas Neitzke photographed by Fergus Padel and styled by Robbie Spencer, the grizzly image of the outdoorsman is refined with fitted proportions and an endearing array of prints.

After four seasons, Chauncey gives their seasonal lookbook a new spirit with the inclusion of Brazilian model Douglas Neitzke. Inspired by René Clément’s 1960s film Plein Soleil, spring’s collection took shape around a relaxed silhouette with a subtle nautical flair. From clean lines to loosely slung fits, Chauncey’s minimalist wardrobe gets an update with a laid-back offering of knits, polos and trousers.

Made for the man on the go, a sense of urgency was felt at the latest show for Lanvin as textures reigned supreme. Dark, light and rushed together, the image of luxury was not a focus as ensembles of great interest and diversity came together. From sheer tops and knit vests to paneled outerwear, the Lanvin man took flight in an eclectic array that was difficult to unravel, but nevertheless engaging. Rounding off with chunky jewelery that possessed a certain ancient quality, designer Lucas Ossendrijver molded one of the best standout collections of the season.

By the shape of things, Damir Doma’s sense of seasons is not typical, but the designer does put on a beautiful showing of draping. Dressed in shades of brown and gray, his men made their way down the catwalk in tightly edited ensembles catered to the showing of Doma’s shapely outerwear. Next on the radar were clean oversize proportions for trousers and shorts alike that found harmony with the natural finishes found in loosely draped shirting. Altogether appearing like a chapter torn from a desert adventure, Damir Doma executed a collection of monochromatic layering that delighted with construction, poise and style.

Douglas Neitzke got his big break when he walked Prada Spring/Summer 2008. He has since walked for Tim Hamilton, Dior Homme, Giuliano Fujiwara, Z Zegna, Dries Van Noten and Lanvin, amongst others. He became the face of Giuliano Fujiwara and Longchamp for Spring/Summer 2010. Douglas was also the face of Adidas SLBR Label Fall/Winter 2009 campaign. This Brazilian has appeared in Dazed & Confused, L’Officiel Hommes Italia, Vogue Hommes Japan, GQ Italia, Man About Town, Contributing Editor, Interview and VMAN.
