Moving Lines–Billowing silhouettes in a great array of colors stole the show for Mr. by Roland Mouret’s spring 2012 outing, where the trouser reigned supreme. Paired with more fitted tops, the lineup was kept simple with soft neutrals accented by bright bursts of color, whether in canary yellow or cobalt blue. Altogether, translating the richness of the seventies into a wearable collection that included the likes of belted safari jackets, sleeveless knits and double breasted blazers, the man of Mr. by Roland Mouret achieved a chic finish with an impressive taste for simplicity.

on this third day chasing models in an exclusive ‘behind the scenes’ story at the men’s paris fashion week castings for the fashionisto my plans (probably too ambitious) were to cover 7 castings, but because of the weather (and the fact that unlike lots of the guys i’ve seen today i’m not crazy about the idea of walking in the rain in a t-shirt) i have to admit that i couldn’t manage more than 4 !

Frankie Morello manages to surprise once more, taking their eclectic tastes on a subdued yet colorful journey for the fall season. Taking to throws and wraps, stripes and prints cover the usually provocative Morello boy for a refreshing change of pace. Exercising a penchant for tailored suiting and juxtaposing it with the warmth of worldly fashions, the Italian label creates a fantastic collection, ready for a quick transition from editorials to reality.

Glossing over fall and heading into a cold winter, Corneliani ensured that their man was bundled in layers to combat the cold. Embracing elements, ranging from a sartorial calling and relaxed military motif to a slope-ready turn in fashion, the label braced itself with a color palette derived from nature. Shifting from dark to light, the collection experienced a strong showing with double breasted blazers, robe-cut outerwear and endearing knits that managed to find a certain cohesiveness felt in domineering fashions.
