Light & Air–Gordon Bothe (I Love Models Management) is enlisted for 830 Sign’s spring/summer 2012 lookbook with images captured by photographer Alvaro Beamud Cortes. Turning to clean lines, spring hues and a relaxed notion of tailoring, this season’s inspiration provides for ethereal results. Styled by Lorenzo Posocco, the airy collection gives fine shape and form to light outerwear, knits and loose flowing trousers. Altogether employing a casual sense of style and marrying it to architectural silhouettes, 830 Sign delivers a strong showing for the spring. / Makeup by Nancy Gallardo.

Far East Movement–With a tall arc pressed up against the end of the runway, a trip to the far East was inevitable for Canali’s spring season. Lovely silk scarves were gracefully wrapped around the neck and draped carelessly underneath linen and silk blended blazers, exuding a bold decadence. Lightweight knits with eastern necklines and shirting with mandarin collars and button enclosures were paired with delightful footwear, while tailored silk blazers imprinted with opulent prints were worn with fitted trousers for an updated stab at modern elegance.

Richmond’s Dinner Party–Classic pinstriped suits over dragon printed tees offered a laid-back sophistication at John Richmond. Reggae and tribal were also in the air with graphic tees of the legendary Bob Marley layered under lightweight cardigans, while tattoo motifs continued to be etched onto fluorescent shirting in hues of red, orange and shocking pink. Signature dinner jackets enriched with crystals and silk trousers captured the austerity and rocker vein of the modern Richmond man.

The Spring Caravan–The classic tale of east meets west provides the landscape for Etro’s spring 2012 collection. A season of great contrast, the soft attributes of paisley printed silk and chunky knits is met with strong lines offered by tailored suiting. Layered to perfection and infused with romance, Etro’s spring lineup matches the fluid with a masculine discourse. From wispy fabrics and structured jackets to a loafer for all occasions, Etro delivers a refined outing that boasts a great palette of prints as well as colors for next spring.

New Beginnings–The is air was fresh and warm this season at Pringle of Scotland. Knits outlive the winter as designer Alistair Carr intends to shake things up with his debut menswear collection as the newly appointed design director of the luxury house. Revisiting the heritage of the Scottish knitwear company, ribbed knits in lightweight cashmere and classic argyle sweaters were reinvented for the 21st century with the pairing of cargo pants for an active and functional outing. Marking a new modern beginning, highly button suits, ribbed turtlenecks and sporty neoprene footwear were decorated with acid hues scattered throughout the impactful collection.

Gordon Bothe is the equivalent of campaign gold. In his debut season for Fall/Winter 2008, Gordon landed three major campaigns; D&G, CK Jeans, and United Colors of Benetton.
