A Moment for Relax­ation–Leav­ing the maniac pac­ing of pre­vi­ous sea­sons behind, Patrik Ervell hits the cat­walk for spring’s col­lec­tion. Tak­ing his inspi­ra­tion from New York City, Ervell finds a lit­tle grit in his well-​​manicured man. Let­ting out his sil­hou­ettes and grav­i­tat­ing away from strictly tai­lored wears, the designer appeases the man of leisure with a glim­mer of relaxed shirt­ing, trousers and out­er­wear. But not one to travel too far away from his main­stay, the out­ing returns to the trea­sured suit with a neu­tral array of sharp jack­ets, accented with shirt­ing options in an enchant­ing water­color print.

DNA Spring 2012 Show Package | New York Fashion Week

DNA’s Pride–New York Fash­ion Week kicks off Sep­tem­ber 8, 2011 and DNA’s show pack­age is the first to roll out. Show­cas­ing the cream of the crop, among DNA’s ranks are quite a num­ber of new­com­ers, off to a phe­nom­e­nal start. Buzz boy Alexan­der Beck arrives in New York, fol­low­ing an amaz­ing show sea­son in Europe with about twenty shows walked and the debut of three cam­paigns for the fall sea­son. Mean­while, its a walkoff of the Miles when it comes to being the crowd pleaser. Both, Gar­ber and McMil­lan have charmed New York’s cast­ing direc­tors. Mean­while, head-​​turner and mod­el­ing sen­sa­tion Andrej Pejic rounds off an amaz­ing pack­age of the catwalk’s best, rang­ing from Mar­cel Cas­ten­miller and Jeremy Young to Benoni Loos.
