Johannes Linder first appeared onto the fashion scene in Topman’s Fall/Winter 2008 campaign. Since he has appeared in 10 Men, VMAN, and The New York Times Style Magazine. He has also starred in campaigns for Jean Fall/Winter 2009 and Wooyoungmi Fall/Winter 2010. He was an exclusive for Jil Sander Spring/Summer 2009 and has since become a regular on the runway where he gets most of his work. Sporting a new haircut, Johannes was one of the models to have walked the most shows during the Spring/Summer 2011 season.

Gushingly Awkward–Johannes Linder cleans up for a new story in Quality magazine. Photographed by both André Hemstedt and Tine Reimer, the PMA model creates sharp lines, clad in an equally dashing wardrobe by stylist Oliver Arlt. From Dior Homme and Jil Sander to Prada, a season of subtle offerings make for a delightful exercise in minimalism. / Grooming by Stephanie Trinkaus. Style assistance by Nadine von Seggern.

Australian Scene–The models of Success invade the latest edition of GQ Style Australia, photographed by Marton Perlaki. Showing up in fine form, Johannes Linder, Julius Gerhardt, Kim Dall’Armi, Luka Badnjar, Matvey Lykov, Thomas Aoustet and Will Westall are styled by resident fashion editor, Wayne Gross, donning the latest wears from prominent labels down under, ranging from Subfusco and Ksubi to Stolen Girlfriends Club.

Casual Formalities–Continuing a shimmering trend in London, Lou Dalton hits the catwalk with varying proportions, accented by silver. Undressing tradition, a formal foot forward coincides with a refined casualness. As blazers are paired with t-shirts for a sporty spring look, light-weight structured outerwear competes with shorts, cut at various lengths for the changing man of style. Letting out targeted silhouettes, while keeping others fitted, Lou Dalton finishes strong with textured finishes and a play on light and dark.

Suited to Cool–Dusty blue and charcoal gray join a choice selection in black for Todd Lynn’s spring 2012 collection. Adding his signature rock edge to a suiting hybrid, color-coordinated ensembles make the rounds with lengthened shorts in toll. Layered lightly with a great knack for elongated proportions, Todd Lynn’s man finds a soft stride with an asymmetrical draped knit for the finishing number.

Garden Variety–Christopher Shannon finds his latest collection among the foliage. Bringing to light a softer side to his sporty approach to menswear, Shannon delivers a light-weight collection, accented by madras and a floral motif. Dressed down in sneakers and trackies, Shannon’s man finds a sophisticated note with an innovative treatment of shirting. From windbreaker-inspired shirts and inventive color blocking to the eccentric addition of tassels, the spring collection charms with a certain rawness inserted into modern sportswear.
