Spring 2010 | Jan iú Més

Barcelona based label Jan iú Més might be show­ing their spring 2010 col­lec­tion, but that does not mean that they have aban­doned the color black. The lat­est col­lec­tion is light and airy, but dark when white is not present. Treated leather gives a mas­cu­line edge to semi-​​sheer gar­ments that embrace effort­less fray­ing. Leg­gings, a con­cept that has been around for sea­sons now are replaced by a male ver­sion of nylons, halved for a care­less tat­tered look. Alto­gether, design­ers Jan Zamora Royo and Alfonso Peña Car­reras cre­ate a look that is very now and tuned into the pulse of fash­ion. How­ever, with spe­cial atten­tion to details, they man­age to cul­ti­vate a sea­sonal look that is uniquely their own and sep­a­rate from the rest of their colleagues.
