The Business of Style–Ermenegildo Zegna tackles the wardrobe of the professional for the fall/winter 2012 season. From board meeting to impromptu plane flight, an evening out or even the slopes on vacation, Zegna’s man is ready for any occasion. While suiting dressed in a Prince of Wales print finds a classic streak with strong lines, essentials like the trench are updated with soft leather accents and an oversize silhouette. Honing in on the details, trousers with the cuff turned up reveal a printed lining that reinforces the collection’s fine attention to style. As jackets are prepared for the cold with quilting, chic numbers like a loosely cut cape jacket resonate well with Ermenegildo Zegna’s man who transverses the path between steadfast tradition and playful modernity.

WhyNot–Making a casting director’s job less difficult, WhyNot pulls out all the stops with a consistent showing of irresistible options. As the last year has shown, David Gandy is unstoppable – racking up two major covers and continuing to play a strong suit to Dolce & Gabbana’s image. Meanwhile, there is Arthur Kulkov, a one fits all type of model and a blast to have around – followed by those standout editorial boys like Jacob Coupe and Alexander Johansson, who easily transition from the runway, walking coveted spots for labels such as Prada to fronting campaigns for a myriad of brands. From Garrett Neff to Aiden Andrews and Adam Senn, the recognizable faces are offered in plenitude and short of a world disaster, it looks like the men of WhyNot are going to have full charts.

Formal Affair–Back in action and hot off the heels of a showing for Miguel Antoinne, Mark Cox hits the studio with photographer David Roemer for November’s edition of Robb Report. Putting his best foot forward, the DNA model is outfitted by Christopher Campbell for a formal occasion, lined with tuxedos from the likes of Ralph Lauren Black Label and Tom Ford. / Grooming by Anthony Nader.

Easy Luxe–Miguel Antoinne enlists DNA model Mark Cox for his latest lookbook, featuring spring’s collection entitled Midnight Safari. Envisioning a ten-day trip with friends, juxtaposed with luxury and a safari motif, the designer infuses menswear fundamentals with an elegant point of view. Building a wardrobe, derived from suiting separates, rich fabrications set the mood for a sophisticated showing. While narrow trousers are taken to the next level with a metallic leopard jacquard print, leather and hand-painted flowers adorn a variety of other covetable pieces. Playing sharp tailored staples like the double-breasted blazer against a draped philosophy, the collection is rounded out by relaxed shirting and an effortless culmination of silk, fine cotton and tweed.

Fall’s Pages–Jeremy Dufour (d’men) and Mark Cox (WhyNot) are photographed by Matteo Montanari (Motif Management) for Replay’s fall 2011 season. Making an appearance in denim, flannels and knitwear, the pair are outfitted by Elisabetta Dal Bello.

The Traveler of Leisure–Perry Ellis sends their man on a relaxing getaway for the spring 2012 season. Employing a soft color palette of pastels and neutrals alike, linens as well as easy cottons come together for a collection of leisure. From field jackets and relaxed pleated trousers to a generous helping of light-weight knits, the man of Perry Ellis was ready for an exotic adventure. Traversing the sands and taking in the surrounding, yellow, orange and cobalt became part of the season tapestry to finish out a well-grounded collection for the contemporary man of mode.
