The Complete Wardrobe–Elmer Olsen model Matt Loewen dons Z Zegna, Burberry and Dolce & Gabbana for Canada’s leading men’s retailer, Harry Rosen. Going from the office to a stroll out on the town, Matt shows the gamut of the fall brands to stocked by the retailer.

The Modern Wardrobe–Zara turns out an elegant wardrobe for their latest lookbook. Predominantly black and gray with a hint of deep blue and mustard yellow, the retailer lays out a range of sharp suiting. Featuring modern cuts and playing with proportions, both elongated knits as well as relaxed necklines complement a transitional success.

Ranch Soul–Matt Loewen of Elmer Olsen and Tomas Skoloudik of Sight don denim, cable knits and other classic Americana staples for the Freesoul fall 2011 campaign. Shot by Yu Tsai, the black and white images show the brand and models in a rugged light with the setting of a dilapidated ranch.

While castings are in full effect for New York Fashion Week, DNA beats the rush and releases this season’s show package. Boasting a great number of familiar faces, ranging from Philip Huang and Josh Beech to Charlie Westerberg, the agency also has its share of up and coming models to Taras Koltun and Peter Bruder. Rounding out the lot with welcomed returns such as Lasse Pedersen, who has been away at school and campaign stars that include Marcel Castenmiller and Mark Cox, DNA will no doubt take a significant bite out of the Big Apple this season.


This season, Gant recruited designer Michael Bastian for Gant by Michael Bastian. Viewing the range as the wardrobe of “the younger brother to the Michael Bastian guy”, the designer’s collection was inspired by lacrosse and Gant’s archives. Going for a casual vibe, the laidback collection was showcased during a presentation, where models gathered in a locker room to shoot the breeze. Including everything from knitwear and khakis to mesh shorts, Bastian’s Gant outing was the timeless marriage of prep and jock.

Matt Loewen started his career as an immediate Dolce & Gabbana favorite, starring in the label’s campaign. Soon after, Matt became the face of Emporio Armani, Espirit, H&M, Bloomingdale’s, Ermanno Scervino and Michael Kors alongside, Carmen Kass. This Canadian born model is best known for his facial scruff and tattoos.
