Made for the man on the go, a sense of urgency was felt at the latest show for Lanvin as textures reigned supreme. Dark, light and rushed together, the image of luxury was not a focus as ensembles of great interest and diversity came together. From sheer tops and knit vests to paneled outerwear, the Lanvin man took flight in an eclectic array that was difficult to unravel, but nevertheless engaging. Rounding off with chunky jewelery that possessed a certain ancient quality, designer Lucas Ossendrijver molded one of the best standout collections of the season.

Fitted and boxy like usual or wide and flared for a change, Raf Simons mixed up the usual this season with a clean collection that showed off his penchant for impeccable cuts. Offering a seamless transition from classic suiting to a modern choppy wardrobe of varying proportions and fits, Simons celebrated his fifteen year anniversary with a forward looking collection that also managed to pay tribute to his impressive body of work.
