The Art of Relaxation–Taking tailoring to a fine art, Hardy Amies manages to showcase a relaxed spin on luxury. With suiting shorts holding a youthful aura as trousers, trimmed above the knee, the British house pulls together the three-piece suit, enveloped by a genuine lightness. Transitioning from cool grays to muted pastels and a touch of metallic for knits, the sharp offering is brought together with the addition of bronzed footwear for an impressive showing.

The Long Wild Side–Exotic prints and textiles lend James Long’s trademark knits a fresh breath of air for the spring 2012 showing. Paired with shorting looks and reptile-printed sandals, a make-shift man of sophistication finds a charming spontaneity with a walk on the wild side. From cream-colored knits, dressed in foliage or a blend of distressed prints to adorn shirting, Long finds a strong stride for his latest collection. A well-rounded outing, complete with accessible essentials such as cuffed shorts and fitted trousers, the range also manages the bold with metallic finishes for a successful spring presentation.

Prep on Edge–J.W. Anderson turns to special textiles to set the stage for his spring 2012 showing. Taking fitted looks on a playful venture, minimalist elements are blended with quirk for a season on the edge. From a penchant for neoprene to a dominate focus on the sleeveless number, Anderson sets caution to the wind with an eclectic variety of pleated shorts, narrow trousers, fitted knits and cardigans, doubling as bottoms. Altogether colorful, the new range finds a stride with spontaneity and a fearless knack for geometric accents.

Taking the cast of their autumn showing, ranging from Oskar Tranum and Adrien Sahores to Oleg Antosik, Prada creates the perfect dolls. Juxtaposing this season’s fabrications and graphic prints with the work of Alexander Reichert as well as Fausto Fantinuoli, the label releases a luxe playground that charms.
