Mon Cheri–DNA models Miles McMillan and Richie Cotterell get an up-do for a story, captured by the lens of Angela Hau for the spring edition of Fashionisto. Finding a balance between a certain sportiness and tailored wears, the pair are outfitted by Carl Barnett.

Minimal Unrest–Disrupting the lines of Patrik Ervell’s trademark suiting, disruption set in with the label’s hero striking a chord for rebellion. Weaving in garments that surprisingly gave the collection an urban edge, Ervell’s man marched on as quilted outerwear took up the part of protective gear and technical fabrics caved into the modern age. Echoing militant sentiments with pieces swaying from structured and fitted to loose, a range that included sharp shirting, a grounded series of trousers and an evolving array of jackets stole the show, setting the tone for a serious fall with an eye for strong style.

English Punk–Finding the inspiration of his latest collection while listening to early eighties post-punk band The Sound, Robert Geller decided to usurp the classic English mode of style for a vehicle to further push his signature design standards. A war of the loose and fitted, the mild manners of the gentleman and the rash tendencies of youth meshed together for a delightful showing. Tackling various interpretations of knickers, casual sweats and voluminous trousers were brought forth for a lively showing. Armed with prints and the occasional splash of bold color, Geller’s collection highlighted a dynamic range of garments as usual. Whether crafting a cozy grandpa’s cardigan or a belted coat, the lineup served up coveted pieces with smart details. Amongst tonal color blocking, short-sleeved cable-knits and dip-dyed fabrics, Robert Geller’s fall showing ushered in a season of sophisticated but energetic pieces.
Nights You Crave–Photographer and cinematographer Livia Alcalde directs an intimate portrayal of the boys at Fashion Milano. The amorous cast includes Paul Boche, Elvis Jankus, Kim Dall’Armi, Adam Prucha, Michael Penquitt, Emilio Flores, Gianluca A., Sasha Weissenborn, Joseph Turnbull, Justus, Lewis Grant, Ole Syrstad, Raf, Richie Cotterell, Ivan Noda, Dorian Jespers, Rafal Stoczynski, Michael Kroeber, Alexander Kjellevik, Stefano Sala, Paulo Piton, Ben Stone, Jonatan Frenk, Linus Gustin, Sokol, Henrik Wallden, Bart van Maanen, Jay Zan, Fredric Johansson, Aaron Elliott and Simon Cesar.

DNA–Impressive to say the least, no face goes unnoticed when it comes to DNA’s choice of boys for each fashion week. At the top of their ranks for this coming fashion week are Miles McMillan and Alexandre Cunha. While Miles is coming into his own with campaigns beginning to follow his success on the runway, Brazilian model Alexandre is having quite the blue chip season that will no doubt follow him on to the catwalk. Meanwhile, new faces Alex Hammond and Chris Petersen will no likely stand out with championed talents Bastiaan Van Gaalen, Alexander Beck and others.

The Missoni Way–With her family looking on, Angela Missoni sent her men down the catwalk with an easy air. Layered lightly for the season, subdued autumn colors contributed to relaxed outing, featuring a semi-fitted wardrobe of knitwear, shirting, and outerwear, executed with a subtle hand. The results of heritage at work, Missoni’s signature prints dressed an array of garments that encompassed a walk of leisure, complete with a laissez-faire attitude and bucket hats that gave a distinct feel to the season.
