Grâce Facile–Success models Rogier Bosschaart and Stephane Oliver share common ground, coming together for the fall/winter 2012 lookbook of Christophe Lemaire. A collision of cultural influences, varying proportions cater to a collection that bridges the gap between tradition and modernity. Creating the new classic in some fashion, menswear fundamentals breathe easy when executed at the hand of Lemaire. The short peacoat is given an accommodating shape. It’s neither fitted nor loose. It’s representative of a design ideology, towing that line between conservative and radical, the melting pot in construction. Featuring trousers that balloon before falling into a graceful taper, outerwear is complemented with a minimalist touch. From concealed buttons to long, lean silhouettes or boxy generous shapes, Christophe Lemaire creates a sophisticated collection that exudes a refined casualness.

Enrico Maria Volonte’s Dolce & Gabbana story for the May 2010 edition of Pen magazines marks one of many for the label this season, yet Volonte manages to bring a certain softness to their masculine man. Outfitting Rogier Bosschaart in the latest collection, the individual pieces come together with an effortless lightness. Completing a refreshing perspective, Francesco Brigida sets out against a natural landscape to photograph Rogier with a calm peace of mind.

Stylist Christopher Campbell channels the work of the late photographer Karlheinz Weinberger for the November issue of Black Book. Taking on the iconic image of biker culture, photographer Darren Keith enlists the help of an all-star Dirty Dozen: Adrian Wlodarski, Arthur Daniyarov, Bastiaan Ninaber, Cole Mohr, Lenz Von Johnston, Marcel Castenmiller, Mark Cox, Petey Wright, Rogier Bosschaart, Roy Pratt, Tom Guiness and William Eustace.

Alexander McQueen continues his knack for transforming ordinary staples into exciting must-have garments with the McQ fall 2009 collection. Young and vibrant, the collection never takes itself too seriously, incorporating healthy amounts of fun and humor. Shirts are accompanied by matching handkerchiefs, while suits feature attention garnering pockets with contrasting trim. Meanwhile, pants are cuffed and playfully too short, while an all-to familiar checkered print finds itself transformed into a painfully chic belted blazer.

Rogier Bosschaart is easily recognized as the muse of Prada. The Dutch star became the face of the label in the 2007 and has continued to be a favorite, opening and closing the fall 2008 show and signing a contract for the Prada Infusion d’Homme fragrance. Rogier had a sensational year in 2008 when he was photographed by noted photographer, Steven Klein, for the campaigns of Calvin Klein Jeans, Mulberry, GF Gianfranco Ferre and Prada. Some of the shows he has walked for include Miu Miu, Hermés, Dries Van Noten and Marni. His editorial credentials include Dazed & Confused, Arena Homme+ and Vogue Italia.
