Major Paris–A culmination of established stars and new talents on the rise come together for Major Paris’ show package for the fall/winter 2012 season. At the forefront is Lenz Von Johnston, Gucci’s current model pick as well as Adrian Wlodarski, who easily finds the catwalk a second home. Rising in the ranks is former fresh face Jesse Shannon, who has been gaining great momentum over the last quarter with steady editorials. Add to the mix new standouts like Simon Van Meervenne and the wheels are in motion for positive results. From the it factor of Jamie Wise to the undeniable star power of Paolo Roldan, Major Paris is on track to another great season.

Greaser Milanese–While it is apparent the designers behind Moschino were inspired by the Elvis and Fonzie-type characters of the fifties, there were several ambiguous elements at play that gave the collection a modern appeal. Two jackets, one in baby blue suede and the other in black leather, mirrored the timeless jean jacket of the same era. On the other hand, the quintessential Moschino shirt fueled spring’s collection with playing card motifs. Another standout element was none other than the printed trouser, a trend that has been strong this season, seen here both casually and in sartorial splendor – which is where the garments really shine. Rounding out a charming show, suits were dressed in gold and adorned with flashing lights, making for a showstopper of looks destined for stars, no matter how large or small.

Major Paris–There is a subtle shift in the industry’s leading models at work and Major Paris’ spring show package touches upon this with the quick rising star that is Sebastian Sauvé and this year’s undeniable breakout model Leebo Freeman. Joining the ranks is Paolo Roldan with a solid editorial profile recently, as well as runway favorites such as Gabriel Gronvik and Lowell Tautchin. Re-emerging front and center with a major fall campaign on the horizon, Lenz Von Johnston is set to take the runway. Meanwhile, Major Paris also ushers in a lineup of promising up and comers, ranging from Federico Cola to buzz boy Bo Develius. Finally, fresh on the radar to watch are Jamie Wise, David Koch, Pierre-Harald and American import Jesse Shannon.

Second Time’s The Charm–Major Paris models Alex Bennett and Wael Sersoub follow up fall’s campaign with a new outing for Bill Tornade. Appearing in the spring 2011 campaign, the duo deliver an easy nonchalance in striped ensembles.

Appearing in an editorial entitled Controlled Restraint, the duo are styled by Mervyn Boriwondo in pieces of a bright color palette pulled from Ralph Lauren, Tim Soar and other designers. / Makeup by Joey Choy with Yusuke Ukai.

Major Paris plays home to recent runway favorites, ranging from Gabriel Gronvik and Theo Hall to Benoni Loos, but perhaps more exciting are the bright new stars like Christian Ochsenfahrt, who are coming up in the ranks. Delivering a certain freshness, seasoned up and comer Dan Kling leads a roster of new faces with well-deserved buzz. From Loammi Goetghebeur, who is beginning to come into his own and undeniable stunner Federico Cola to the quickly rising star of Bo Develius, Major Paris leads the pack with several models who are sure to end the season as some of the season’s most popular boys.

Wael Sersoub’s discovery differs from most models. Instead of being discovered on the street or attending an open casting at an agency, Wael got his big break when he was spotted by German Stylist, Ingo Nahrwold, on Facebook. He immediately booked his first editorial for Another Man magazine and later shot for Ponytail, Visual Tales and Tetu. Wael stepped onto the runway and walked for JW Anderson, Kris Van Assche, John Galliano and Thom Browne. Landing his first campaign, Wael became the face of Bill Tornade for fall 2010.
