Outfitted for the sport of sailing, Johannes Faktotum’s spring outing looks to functional wear for the man who may not play nice around the clock. While castings are in full effect for New York Fashion Week, DNA beats the rush and releases this season’s show package. Boasting a great number of familiar faces, ranging from Philip Huang and Josh Beech to Charlie Westerberg, the agency also has its share of up and coming models to Taras Koltun and Peter Bruder. Rounding out the lot with welcomed returns such as Lasse Pedersen, who has been away at school and campaign stars that include Marcel Castenmiller and Mark Cox, DNA will no doubt take a significant bite out of the Big Apple this season.

Never losing sight of the future, Calvin Klein continues on a narrow path, focusing energy on the evolution of the suit. While suiting takes on a boxy fit, ribbed sportswear adds texture and exaggerated proportions are explored for memorable outerwear. Cold and distant, the Calvin Klein man is complicated, but his approach to the fall season is simple – the goal is structure, a little flash and a penchant for tomorrow’s trends.

Will Defiel is following in the footsteps of his successors as the face of Calvin Klein. He made his debut for the label on the runway as an exclusive for spring 2010 and a campaign was to be expected. It was hard to be unnoticed with his major campaign and he soon popped up in the pages of GQ Style, GQ Russia and VMAN. Will has since walked for Dolce & Gabbana and Alexander McQueen.
