Brooklyn Calling–Request model Yuri Pleskun joins Tatiana Cotliar for the fall/winter 2011 issue of British magazine Twin. Captured on the streets of New York by photographer Jason Kibbler, the pair are styled by resident fashion editor, Celestine Cooney. In playful spirits, garments from Acne, Alexander Wang and other youthful labels come together for a charming foray.

Sporty Yuri–Request model Yuri Pleskun steps onto the field for a spread in L’Officiel Hommes Korea. Photographed by Kim Hyungsik and styled by Born Lee, the creative pairing works together to put Yuri in stripes to achieve an off the cuff yet dashing, fall athletic look.

Casual Formalities–Continuing a shimmering trend in London, Lou Dalton hits the catwalk with varying proportions, accented by silver. Undressing tradition, a formal foot forward coincides with a refined casualness. As blazers are paired with t-shirts for a sporty spring look, light-weight structured outerwear competes with shorts, cut at various lengths for the changing man of style. Letting out targeted silhouettes, while keeping others fitted, Lou Dalton finishes strong with textured finishes and a play on light and dark.

Suited to Cool–Dusty blue and charcoal gray join a choice selection in black for Todd Lynn’s spring 2012 collection. Adding his signature rock edge to a suiting hybrid, color-coordinated ensembles make the rounds with lengthened shorts in toll. Layered lightly with a great knack for elongated proportions, Todd Lynn’s man finds a soft stride with an asymmetrical draped knit for the finishing number.

Leading Example–AllSaints partners with international non-profit anti-human trafficking group Not For Sale. Creating a capsule collection as the first part of their joint efforts, AllSaints releases images of the new lineup, featuring Request model Yuri Pleskun. The range goes on sale late October and will be available at AllSaints physical stores in addition to their webstore. Part of the profits will go to Not For Sale to aid in their work to end forced labor. The new line will expand beyond t-shirts in 2012.

Strict Order–Zero + Maria Cornejo tread the minimalist line for a sharp spring 2012 showing, featuring a sampling of impeccable ensembles. Rounding hems and relaxing the structure of spring’s garments, a neutral color palette is transformed into a vibrant presentation of character and print for a smart refined outing.

One of the models with the most editorial work, Yuri Pleskun got his big break after being featured in Topman’s spring 2009 campaign. His career has taken off ever since and he can now be seen in magazines such as Vogue Hommes Japan, AnOther Man, Vogue Italia and 10 Men. He has also starred in campaigns for Marc by Marc Jacobs, Margaret Howell, Juicy Couture and most recently Balenciaga with Gisele Bundchen.
