This sea­son, Gant recruited designer Michael Bas­t­ian for Gant by Michael Bas­t­ian. View­ing the range as the wardrobe of “the younger brother to the Michael Bas­t­ian guy”, the designer’s col­lec­tion was inspired by lacrosse and Gant’s archives. Going for a casual vibe, the laid­back col­lec­tion was show­cased dur­ing a pre­sen­ta­tion, where mod­els gath­ered in a locker room to shoot the breeze. Includ­ing every­thing from knitwear and khakis to mesh shorts, Bastian’s Gant out­ing was the time­less mar­riage of prep and jock.

    Some of the jack­ets looks really badly fit­ted. Some indi­vid­ual looks are cool but over­all this fash­ion is a mish-​​mash of poor fit­ting clothes and some appalling color choices. Dis­ap­point­ing overall.
