WWD con­firms that after much spec­u­la­tion, designer Mar­tin Margiela has stepped down as cre­ative designer of his self-​​titled line. The Parisian fash­ion house will con­tinue on with­out a new cre­ative direc­tor – instead look­ing to the cre­ative team that Margiela estab­lished. Margiela is rumored to have left to pur­sue his inter­ests in painting.
