
A Contest for the Duckie Fans–In celebration of New York Fashion Week Florsheim by Duckie Brown will host a personal style competition to give away two front row tickets to the Duckie Brown spring/summer 2012 runway show. Fans of the Florsheim by Duckie Brown Facebook page will be made eligible by posting one personal image to the wall that illustrates their style. Images are to come complete with a description of what they’re wearing and how their style sets them apart from the other entrants. The competition began on August 15th and will run until midnight on Friday, August 26th. After 5 top looks are selected by Florsheim by Duckie Brown, fans will be able to vote for their favorite look and the contestant with the most likes will win tickets.

Road Trip to Bestival–Continually blending the lines between fashion and rock ‘n’ roll, as they did in their latest campaign, denim-based brand label, Replay, has teamed up with Bestival to play host to their Road Trip to Bestival competition. Kicking off on August 4th in Glasgow, the festival features emerging musicians competing for a chance to perform at Bestival on the Isle of Wight on September 8th through the 11th. On August 18th the competition will be hosted at the Covent Garden store in London.

Beckham for H&M–A brand known for it’s popular collaborations, H&M has announced that they will team up with global icon, David Beckham, for the launch of his new bodywear range.The long-term partnership, which gives the fast fashion giant exclusive rights to sell the line, will produce it’s first collection on February 2nd of 2012 to coincide with Valentine’s Day. Subsequent collections will be released seasonally following that. The collaboration is only one part of a new brand image for the former Emporio Armani underwear model.

London’s Next Calling–For their thirteenth season, Topman and Fashion East invite Matthew Miller and Shaun Samsun to join Martine Rose in showing their spring 2012 collections at Men’s Day during London Fashion Week. The designers were selected by a panel of industry insiders including Style.com’s Tim Blanks, Mugler’s Nicola Formichetti and AnOther Man’s Alister Mackie. Martine Rose will present her seventh collection from her eponymous label, her third as a part of MAN and already has a growing number of collaborations under her belt. Mathew Miller, an alumnus of the Royal College of Art, was recognized by Vogue for his graduate collection and has presented his past three collections which mix tailoring and sportswear with intricate textile decoration, at London Fashion Week as part of Fashion East’s menswear instillation. A recent winner of the ITS Fashion Collection of the Year, Shaun Samson, studied at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, Central St. Martins, and under Jeremy Scott, and designs “men’s modern street wear.” / Pictured from left to right: Matthew Miller, Martine Rose, Shaun Samson.

New Collab–For the Fall 2011 season, Duvetica collaborates with Junya Watanabe, producing cotton down jackets and reversible down vests filled with the finest premium French goose down. Each piece is lined with cotton check and features fabric variations of wool check or corduroy on the back. This outdoorsman chic collab will be available at Jeffrey, Bergdorf Goodman, Net-A-Porter and Bloomingdales the end of August. The pieces were first seen in the Junya Watanabe Fall 2011 collection.
