OntFront Spring 2010 — “Tonight Is The Knight”

From the medieval period to the com­mon chess board, the knight comes alive as the inspi­ra­tion for OntFront’s spring 2010 col­lec­tion. Designer Liza Koif­man and Cre­ative Direc­tor Tomas Over­toom rein­ter­preted the knight as the mod­ern man of style. In an inno­v­a­tive fash­ion, the blazer’s form becomes the armor as dress shirts reign with crafty lapels. The sleek use of com­ple­men­tary col­ors give the col­lec­tion dimen­sion, while also work­ing well into the collection’s con­cept of a coat of armor. At times, the usage of the knight’s chess piece can be a lit­tle much, but over­all the col­lec­tion still charms with spon­tane­ity and youth­ful creativity.
