Color Moment–Save for a choice few, jet black hair was the element of contrast for Paul Smith’s spring/summer 2013 show, where color and the slim silhouette reigned. Polka dots and florals decorated the first part of the collection with narrow jackets and smart shirts benefiting the most from the charming motif. Continuing, a pattern that tackled scissors as muse gave the range a dark streak before applying a classic windowpane print to a casual jacket for a modern British touch. Rounding out the season with two-button suits in contagious shades of mustard yellow, fuchsia and other bold colors, Paul Smith has not forgotten his choice clientele.
