The Sitter, Not the Artist by Andrea Vecchiato

Going nude to sup­port the National Autis­tic Soci­ety, actors, mod­els, musi­cians and artists alike are fea­tured in a col­lec­tion of thirty por­traits for Andrea Vecchiato’s lat­est project The Sit­ter, Not the Artist. Inspired by Oscar Wilde, who wrote “Every por­trait that is painted with feel­ing is a por­trait of the artist, not of the sit­ter”, Vec­chi­ato is sell­ing his orig­i­nal prints with prof­its going to the National Autis­tic Soci­ety. From Octo­ber 25 to Novem­ber 2, 2010, Vecchiato’s prints will be on dis­play at The Gallery Soho.
