Paolo Anchisi by Karim Sadli for Balmain Spring 2012

Coun­try Tid­ings–Bal­main Homme warms up to the coun­try charms of Ford model Paolo Anchisi for their spring 2012 efforts, pho­tographed as usual by Karim Sadli. With art direc­tion by Ate­lier Franck Durand, Paolo is caught in the cross-​​hairs of sim­ple coun­try liv­ing and the draw of the city as he dons designer Olivier Rousteing’s first col­lec­tion for the label. Pulled together with an evolv­ing style that eas­ily makes the tran­si­tion from casual to for­mal, Bal­main Homme’s new range evokes the sophis­ti­ca­tion of an evening out with a white tuxedo, while draw­ing in the edge of its youth­ful image with tex­tured leathers. Paired with denim, sleeve­less waist­coats and jack­ets alike, Bal­main Homme comes full cir­cle for spring, show­cas­ing impres­sive offer­ings, mak­ing for a stel­lar debut from Rousteing.
