Retro Spin–Photographed by Mariano Vivanco, Paddy Mitchell joins Request models Tanner Dillon and Tucker Des Lauriers for an eighties-inspired spread in H&M’s latest magazine. Styled by Jay Massacret, the trio are captured in everything from classic gym looks to denim ensembles and easy undergarments.

Family Portrait–Dolce & Gabbana enlists Mariano Vivanco to photograph their spring/summer 2012 campaign. A page taken from an Italian film, the label captures life in a southern village with actors that include Francesco Scianna, Filippo Nigro, Giuseppe Fiorello and Chiara Francini stepping into the roles of a spirited family, clad in their signature tailoring.

In the Woods–Request model Nicola Wincenc joins Billy Morgan, Kevin Freed and Travis Cannata of Ford for a story lensed by Mariano Vivanco for DSECTION. Venturing into the woods with Maryna Linchuk, the lot are styled by Joseph Episcopo, who employs relaxed pieces from the likes of Salvatore Ferragamo and Burberry for a cheeky nature rendezvous. / Casting by Melissa Lee Batsel (Batsel Creative).

Mr. Wonderful–David Gandy heads back to the studio with Mariano Vivanco for November’s edition of UK magazine Attitude. Landing the cover story, the Select model dishes about his ten-year career, when not donning fall garments from Miharayasuhiro, Jean Paul Gaultier and other labels, styled by fashion editor, Frank Strachan.

After studying at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Art in Australia, Vivanco moved to New Zealand, where he began a career in photography, before moving to London. Photographing models, it would not be long, until Vivanco’s work made it to print, being featured in British magazine Dazed & Confused. Catching the attention of Dolce & Gabbana, Vivanco went on to photograph numerous works for the Italian label, publishing books, beginning in 2003 with Calcio, before moving on to other books that include the recent David Gandy retrospective.
