The fall-winter 2017 edition of New York Fashion Week: Men is on the receiving end of much-needed star power. Business of Fashion confirms that Raf Simons will be showing his new collection in New York. Although Simons typically shows during Paris Fashion Week, the move makes sense. The Belgian designer was recently named chief creative officer for Calvin Klein, which calls the Big Apple home.

Discussing Simons’ addition to the fashion week calendar, CFDA chief executive, Steven Kolb shares, “Raf will bring a new level of creativity and energy to New York Fashion Week: Men’s and we are excited to have him join this important platform for American menswear.” Simons will show his fall-winter 2017 collection in February.
