Rag & Bone Fall/Winter 2014–Unveiling their new collection before the official start of New York Fashion Week, Rag & Bone designers Marcus Wainwright and David Neville offered an interesting presentation. Juxtaposing images of models taken in the days leading up to the show wearing their runway looks with the main event, Wainwright and Neville emphasized a practical approach to fashion. Taking into account their British roots and their American leanings, workwear served as the motivation for fall/winter 2014. Dressed in neutral hues, windbreakers, suiting separates, cable-knit sweaters and other menswear essentials took on a militaristic look with a strong sense of tradition. From the opening look that included a fairisle knit to a pinstripe three-piece suit or a leather biker’s jacket, Rag & Bone created a thoughtful collection of wearable pieces for all occasions.
