A continuation of their fall 2009 campaign, Me & City release new images by Ellen von Unwerth as they transition into winter. Featuring Cole Mohr, Luke Worrall, Stas Svetlichnyy and Agyness Deyn, the campaign remains youthful and upbeat.

Reuniting with Willy Vanderperre, who photographed him before, most notably for the stunning Arena Homme+ editorial “Somewhere in Boystown”, Bastiaan Ninaber added the Cerruti fall campaign to his vast list of editorials and catwalk bookings. With no distractions, Bastiaan put on a fresh face and performed effortlessly for a classic campaign that we are happy to note has led to another booking for next season.

Reacting to an economy in crisis, several of the world’s leading labels took to the catwalks of Milan and Paris this past January with collections that all had one element in common – the color black. Bleak and disparaging, the lack of color highlighted a group of designers that were well aware of the turbulent year ahead for retailers and the industry at large. Instead of turning to bold colors, designers used constraint in effort to present collections that provided garments for the sensible buyer, while also remaining true to their voice. Setting the stage for a dark fall, black would also overtake catwalks across the world from Stockholm and Berlin to New York. Fortunately, it is to their credit that designers crafted a season that included a finer attention to shape, cut and texture.

Inspired not only by the 1960’s, but also the film Withnail & I, Motel approach the season with a nostalgia for the British working class of yesterday. Pairing utilitaran outerwear with a clever mix of suiting and day-to-day wear, the label takes on a smart range that is fit for both the starving artist and working bloke.

Joan Pedrola of Major Models is on a fast track to end the year well with numerous editorials and other works surfacing in the past couple weeks. Photographed by Txema Yeste, Joan wears the latest from Mango; contemporary suiting as well as a playful mix of prints and colors.

It turns out that photography team Zuza Krajewska and Bartek Wieczorek have just the right chemistry with Tomek Szczukiecki. Reuniting with Tomek after their stint for Geil magazine, the duo photograph the latest collection from Reserved. Thrown into the role of both director and model, Tomek gives a dynamic performance in a range that embraces its fair share of contemporary garments.
